The UK's prime minister and chancellor of the exchequer are among 30 people given on-the-spot fines following the investigation into the 'Partygate' scandal, APA reports citing BBC.
PM Boris Johnson and Chancellor Rishi Sunak had been slapped with the fines for breaching COVID-19 lockdown rules.
That brings the total number of the Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN) fines imposed by London's Metropolitan Police to 50.
The first 20 fines were issued last month as a result of the probe into allegations that Prime Minister Boris Johnson's staff socialised after hours at the Westminster seat of government with drinks and snacks in breach of the rules.
