On the Kherson front, Ukrainian troops have penetrated the first line of Russian defenses, according to Serhiy Khlan’, deputy of the Kherson Regional Council, APA reports citing Ukrinform.
"The first line of Russian defenses on the Kherson front has been breached. The geography of the destruction of the Ruscists is expanding. Last night and in the first half of this day alone, Ukrainian Army strikes hit Kherson, Antonivka, Oleshky, Nova Kakhovka, Liubymivka, and Beryslav," the official wrote.
The Ukrainian Army has been inflicting fire damage on Russian routes of movement, as well as manpower and ammunition clusters across Kherson region.
