Germany's gross domestic product (GDP) adjusted for price, seasonal, and calendar variations grew 0.1% in the second quarter of 2022 compared to the previous three-month period, the country's Federal Statistical Office Destatis said in a report released on Thursday, APA reports citing Tele Trader.
"Despite difficult framework conditions in the global economy, the German economy held its ground in the first two quarters of 2022," said Dr. Georg Thiel, President of the Federal Statistical Office.
Adjusted for price, the GDP expanded by 1.8% on an annual basis for the second quarter of 2022.
