German Chancellor Olaf Scholtz signed the book of condolences at the Turkish embassy in Berlin over Monday’s devastating earthquake that has left more than 19,000 killed and thousands injured in the country, said the German leader on Twitter, APA reports.
"Germany mourns with the people of Türkiye. We will provide any support possible to help during these difficult hours. In commemoration of the victims. – My words in the book of condolences in the Turkish Embassy in Berlin," the Chancellor said.
