A Tu-95 strategic bomber aircraft crashed during a training flight in the Amur region, APA reports, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that six crew members were killed and one person was injured in the incident.
According to the information, there was no ammunition on board the aircraft.

A Tu-154 aircraft belonging to the Russian Ministry of Defense has crashed in the Amur region, the Baza Telegram channel reports.
The incident occurred near the village of Krasnoyanovo in the Amur region on September 29.
According to the report, seven people were on board the aircraft. Six of them were killed and one was injured. The injured person was hospitalized.
According to preliminary information, the crash may have been caused by a fuel explosion on board the aircraft.
It is noted that the aircraft belonged to the Russian Ministry of Defense’s Ukrainka airbase. A large fire broke out at the crash site.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
