“France presents all the events that it has committed against us to the world community as the internal affairs of the country,” said Maurice Pindard, member of the Movement for Social Liberation and Decolonization of French Guiana at hybrid round table discussion and press conference on the topic "Decolonization, international diplomacy and the role of communication in the modern world" held with the participation of a group of journalists from various African countries, well-known bloggers and civil society activists, as well as New Caledonian journalists, APA reports.
“The French government is subjecting the Guyanese people to unprecedented pressure. Among these pressures, I can point out various types of violations of law, illegalities, as well as illegal interventions in our territories. I believe that official Paris should be forced to stop all these actions. Illegality against a nation cannot be an internal matter of any state,” – he stressed.
The member of the movement also emphasized the support of the Baku Initiative Group to his country and thanked for that.
