Former Vice Prime Minister of Georgia summoned for questioning by State Security Service

Former Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Levan Davitashvili, and former senior officials of the Gas and Oil Corporation have been summoned for questioning by the State Security Service, APA reports, citing InterpressNews.

The State Security Service explains the reason for which the agency is questioning former Vice Prime Minister of Georgia Levan Davitashvili and former Director General of the Oil and Gas Corporation Giorgi Chikovani.­

As InterpressNews was told by the agency, "Levan Davitashvili and Giorgi Chikovani are being questioned within the framework of the investigation conducted by the Anti-Corruption Agency regarding an agreement signed with a major oil company."

Former Vice Prime Minister of Georgia Levan Davitashvili and former senior officials of the Gas and Oil Corporation are currently being questioned by the State Security Service.
