The United Kingdom is refusing to grant the United States permission to use its military bases to attack Iran, APA reports citing The Times.
Washington is developing detailed plans for a military operation against Iran, which would involve the use of a joint British-American base on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean and Fairford Air Force Base in Gloucestershire, England, the main base for US heavy bombers in Europe.
According to The Times, London has not yet granted permission to use these facilities due to concerns that an American strike on Iran would "violate international law."
