An air raid alert has been issued in Ukraine due to a missile attack, APA reports citing UNN.
Residents are asked to stay in shelters. Air defense systems are reported to be in operation and explosions are heard in Kyiv, Kremenchuk, Krivoy Rog and Zaporizhia.
"The air raid alarm continues! Air defense is operating in the region, on the approaches to Kyiv. Stay in shelters until the air raid alarm is over!", the KGVA reported on Telegram.
"Residents of Kyiv region! Air raid sirens continue. Missile attack. We ask everyone to stay in shelters. Air defense is operating in the region," the Kyiv Regional State Administration added on Telegram.
“The sounds of explosions can be heard in Kyiv,” Suspilne reported.
Explosions are also reported in other areas.
“The sounds of explosions can be heard in Kremenchuk in Poltava region,” Suspilne reported.
“Repeated sounds of explosions are heard in Krivoy Rog,” Suspilne noted.
“There were also explosions in Zaporozhye,” Suspilne reported.
