Police clashed with the protesters holding picket in front of National Library in Tbilisi, APA’s Georgian bureau reports.
The protestors visiting the area tried to enter the building in order to prevent the meeting of Georgian Justice Minister Tea Tsulukiani to be held at the National Library.
The confrontation occurred between police and protesters. Police detained several persons including Gigi Ugulava and Giorgi Kandelaki, leaders of the European Georgia opposition party.
At present, tension continues in the area.
The other opposite leaders have already arrived in the area.
