In the accident late Friday, the driver hit a dog and lost control of the car near Velika Plana, about 40 miles southeast of Belgrade, senior police official Milorad Veljovic said. Veljovic said the car flipped several times before going off the road. Jocic was transferred to Belgrade for treatment at an orthopedic clinic, where he underwent an operation, and was in stable condition, Veljovic said. Driver Mirko Damjanovic was not in life-threatening condition, Veljovic said. /APA/
