Baku-APA. Visiting Italian Foreign Minister Giulio Terzi said Tuesday that his country will focus on the cooperation with Libya in various fields, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
Italy will focus on the cooperation with Libya in infrastructure, culture and security, Terzi said during a joint press conference with Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zaidan.
The Italian official, who arrived in Tripoli Tuesday, also underlined the issue of illegal immigration.
Zaidan, for his part, emphasized his government’s determination to strengthen the bilateral ties, adding that Libya will work hard to be respected by the international community.
President of the Libyan National Congress Mohamed Magrif announced Sunday that the new Libyan government led by Zaidan will take oath on Thursday.
