Turkish President’s salary increased by 11%

Baku – APA. The salary of Turkish President Abdullah Gul has been increased by 11%. APA reports that the increase will be calculated from Januray. At present, the President’s salary is TRY 35,500 ($18715) and it will be TRY 37,250 ($20810) from the next year. According to the state budget for 2013, TRY 157,6 mln ($ 88 004 692) will be spent on maintenance of the Presidential Administration. The annual budget of the National Intelligence Organization (NIO) was also increased by 32,5%. TRY 996 mln (approximately $556 mln) will be spent on ensuring the activity of NIO.
