Baku-APA. The political parties which won September’s election in the Netherlands approved on Monday the draft agreenment on forming a new coalition government, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
The Liberals led by Mark Rutte and the Labor party led by Diederik Samsom won the country’s elections in last September and inked the draft coalition government deal on Sunday.
Rutte, who is expected to lead the new government, called the draft agreement as "balanced" and Samsom said his party had had a "good debate" about the agreement.
Many new measures that the new government would take after it has been sworn in, including a total cut of 16 billion euros (20.64 billion US dollars) in spending, have been leaked out in the past week.
It took a shorter time for the two political parties to form a new government after elections this year.
Last time in 2010, the Liberals and the Christian Democrats, along with the Freedom Party, took 127 days to form a coalition government.
