Baku – APA. Former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, reacting to a Milan court’s conviction for tax fraud, said on Saturday he would stay in politics, APA reports quoting Reuters.
Berlusconi told an Italian television interviewer that he felt "obliged to stay in the field" in order to protect other Italians from what he called judicial injustices.
"I feel obliged to stay in the field to reform the justice system so that what happened to me does not happen to other citizens," he said.
76-year-old politician and his lawyers announced that they will appeal on the order to send a year-imprisonment.
