Opposition bloc is leading after counting 20% of votes in Georgia

Baku – APA. The Central Election Commission of Georgia has finished counting 20,74% of bulletins on proportional system. APA reports quoting “Novosti Gruzia” that after counting the results of 778 of 3766 polling stations, oppositional bloc of Bidniza Ivanishvili “Georgian Dream” could gain 54,31% of votes and the ruling United National Movement – 40,59%. The other parties couldn’t pass the minimum barrier of 5% for representation in the parliament on the proportional system.

77 deputies will be mandated on proportional system, 73 - on majority system in a new parliament.
