Difference between “Georgian Dream” and United National Movement reduces

Baku – APA. The Central Election Commission of Georgia continues counting the votes. APA reports quoting “Novosti Gruzia” that the difference between opposition bloc “Georgian Dream” and ruling party United National Movement has reduced after counting 15,35% of the bulletins on proportional system. “Georgian Dream” polled 52,77% of votes and United National Movement 42,08%. The other parties didn’t pass 5% minimum barrier for being represented in the parliament on the proportional system.

According to preliminary information, “Georgian Dream” leads to 28 constituencies and United National Movement – 24 of 73 constituencies. The results of the 21 constituencies have been not announced yet.

77 deputies will be mandated on proportional system, 73 - on majority system in a new parliament.
