According to APA’s correspondent, about it was said in a statement of Secretary General of GUAM Valeri Chechelashvili within the OSCE summit in Astana.

"One of the new components of internal trade of GUAM, this year was delivering Azerbaijani oil to Ukraine. Within last 9 months of this year, about 1.5 million tons oil, total amount more than $ 700 million, were delivered from Azerbaijan to Ukraine by GUAM transport transit corridor. And present delivery is 25% of the total consumption of Ukraine",- the statement said.

Speaking about the performance of internal trade GUAM states that in 2006 they accounted for less than $ 2 billion in 2008 to a record $ 4 billion, despite “the financial crisis and Russia’s aggression against Georgia”. "In 2009 this figure fell to 30% and amounted to $ 2.4 billion. Within last 9 months was achieved growth, it is expected that over the entire 2010 sale of the GUAM countries will be $ 4.3 or $ 4.4 billion and planned to bring this figure up to two-digit number in the next 4-5 years.

Recall that tomorrow in Astana will start first in the last 11 years the OSCE summit in which will be held on December 2 the 13th meeting of the Council of Ministers of GUAM member countries. The meeting will consider the prospects of the organization, as well as cooperation with the GUAM countries, partners and various international organizations.
