Baku-APA. Manchester United has defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers for the second time in ten days thanks to an injury time winner by Ji-sung Park, APA reports quoting Press TV.

The Korean put the Reds in front in the closing stages of the first half at old Trafford on Saturday.

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake scored the equalizer for Wolves in the 65th minute. However, Park netted a close range strike in the 92nd minute to ensure the three points for his side.

United lined up against the Wolves with a host of players absent due to injury and illness. Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney, Dimitar Berbatov and Michael Owen were among the absentees.

More Bad news for United was Owen Hargreaves’ limping off on his comeback match just after five minutes.

The England international has been out of action September 2008 and has operated on both knees.

"It was a long struggle. Given the changes I had to make, trying to get the continuity of performance was difficult today," United Manager Sir Alex Ferguson told MUTV.

"I thought Wolves were the better team in the first half, they played very well but we got a great goal right on half-time and I thought that would settle us. In the second half we were the better team. We lost a bad goal on our part but went on to get a late winner," he added.

The injury-time winner -- a hallmark of Manchester United -- came on the 24th anniversary of Sir Alex as the Reds’ manager.

United now has 23 points out of 11 games and stands second, two points adrift Premier League leader Chelsea.
