Ukraine issues dress code for gov’t employees

Baku-APA. Ukraine’s government has approved a dress code for its employees and visitors, local media reported Wednesday, APA reports quoting Xinhua News Agency.

"Prescriptions were introduced in order to improve discipline and business style among the government’s employees," according to Cabinet’s statement posted on its website.

In particular, all staff members have been recommended to have at least three business suits and prohibited to come to the office in the same clothes for two consecutive days.

Employees should also avoid bright ties and shoes with sparkling details.

"Striped tie is considered to be the most suitable for the employees," the prescription underlined.

Meanwhile, women are encouraged to refrain from dresses and blouses with plunging neckline.

The dresses with a completely open arms were also forbidden.

The dress code also prohibits wearing narrow and short skirts and clothing with a picture of a flower.

Precious stones should be worn primarily by married women, according to the rules.
