Bomb alert forces plane to divert to Stockholm

Baku-APA. A warning of a possible suicide bomber on board a plane bound for Pakistan forced an airplane to make an emergency landing at Stockholm airport on Saturday, monstersandcritics.com website.
Canadian police had sent an alert that the Pakistan Airlines Boeing 777, which took off from Toronto, may have had a bomb on board.
All 273 passengers were evacuated, but no explosives found.
A Canadian man of Pakistani descent was arrested, but later released following an in-depth interrogation and the fruitless search of the plane.
Its passengers were allowed to resume their trip after a delay of about eight hours.
The pilot had been alerted by radio of the possible attack, and that the flight would have to divert, while the plane was in mid-air.
Canadian police were acting on an anonymous tipoff.
