Recep Tayyip Erdogan: We will prepare a new Constitution

Baku â€“ APA. â€œAfter the Ramadan holiday Turkey has come off the democracy holiday with honor,â€ Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said while taking a stance on the results of the referendum held on September 12, APA reports quoting Turkish media.
â€œThe amendment to 26 articles of our Constitution have been approved by 58 percent of the votes. Our dear nation approved the package of amendments. We think the main message from the ballot box is that our people want more developed democracy, more freedom, the society with prevalence of national will. The societyâ€™s demand for justice has won today, not those who want to protect their privileges. Our people demonstrated will in the referendum,â€ he said.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan said along with those who said â€œyesâ€, those who said â€œnoâ€ had also won. He noted that they would prepare a new Constitution. Without naming Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the leader of Nurchus Fatullah Gulen for supporting the amendments to the Constitution.
