Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 519,200 m³ of gas in April 2016, down 6.55% compared to a year earlier, 5.22% to March of 2016.
In January-April 2016 SOCAR produced 2,114,500 m³ of gas, down 4.98% compared to 2015.
Note that SOCAR produced 543,100 m³ of gas in January, 504,400 m³ in February and 547,800 m³ in March.
In April, total gas production across the country made 2,474,900 m³, down 0.3% from previous year, 4.18% from March.
In January-April 2016 gas production across the country stood at 9,965,900 m³, up 0.69% in comparison with a year earlier.
2,520,000 m³ of gas were produced in January, 2,368,000 m³ in February and 2,583,000 m³ in March across the country.
