Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. In 2014, Azerbaijan exported 35 mln tonnes of oil to the world market. Of this, 24.5 mln tonnes was carried out by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan. This is 72% f total export, SOCAR spokesman Adil Abishov said at the 8th International Caspian Oil-Gas and Trading-Transportation Conference.
According to him, 82% of oil was transported via BTC, 12% - via Baku-Supsa, 3$ - via Baku-Novorossiysk pipelines and 3% via railways.
Abishov said SOCAR has trade links with 30 countries: “Azerbaijan’s oil buyers in European market are Italy, Germany and France. SOCAR transfers 20% of oil to Asian market, 12% to Georgia”.
