Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. The negotiations between Russia’s Gazprom and Turkish BOTAS on making concessions to Turkish side for natural gas to be transported by Turkish Stream pipeline have reached deadlock and can be stopped, APA-Economics reports quoting Kommersant newspaper.

According to newspaper, the companies cannot come to an agreement that on what components of negotiations the 10.25%-discount will be imposed. Gazprom wants to impose these concessions on the prices provided in the contract. But BOTAS wants to impose them on the base part which is profitable for Turkish side.

Along with this, Turkish side delays permission for construction of Turkish Stream.

Though the negotiations are deadlocked, Turkish side is still hoping that it will made concessions in purchase of gas from Russia because of decline of Turkish lire against USD.
