Four-sided discussions on Turkmenistanâ€™s joining TANAP over, sides sign MoU

According to Turkmen media, the meeting aims to hold discussions on Turkmenistan’s joining the Trans-Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP).

After meeting, Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz noted that a Memorandum of Understanding and joint declaration envisaging assessment of Turkmenistan’s natural gas have been signed at the end of the discussions.

“This MoU will contribute to Turkey on energy policy”, the Minister said.

The four-sided discussions were attended by T. Yildiz, Turkmenistan's Deputy President in Charge of Energy Baymurat Hocamuhammedov, Minister of Industry and Energy of Azerbaijan Natiq Aliyev and Energy Union VP Maros Sefcovic.
