Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. Extra platforms will be installed within the Shah Deniz-2 project by 2018, said the SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev.
According to him, subsea pipelines should be constructed and technological area should be extended in Sangachal terminal by 2018. Abdullayev added that technological reconstruction works will be carried out in the construction yards in Baku and technical and functional capabilities of a number of ships will be increased. “Istiglal” and “Dede Gorgud” rigs will be improved. New universal ship is planned to be constructed in Bak Shipyard.
Abdullayev noted that Shah Deniz-2 and the South Caucasus Pipeline Expansion (SCPX) projects will launch over 10,000 jobs in Azerbaijan.
SOCAR President also noted that most construction works will be carried out in Azerbaijan and this will increase the production and construction potential of the country.
