Azerbaijan produces 11 mln tonnes of crude oil, 7 bcm of gas in January-March

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. In January-March, 2015, the production in mining sector of the industry rose 5.6% to AZN 3,401.9 mln.

State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that 10,669,100 tonnes of crude oil (including gas condensate) was produced during the quarter past, up 1.4% from previous year. Consequently, the finished products made 231,300 tonnes.

Of this, 10,545,100 tonnes are marketable oil, up 31.1% compared to a year earlier.

During the same period, 7,323.6 mcm of gas was produced in the country, down 3.6% in annual comparison. Of this, 5,163.4 mcm makes marketable gas, up 11.2% from 2014.
