Azerbaijan decreases car production

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. In January-March of 2015, Azerbaijan produced AZN 65.6 mln-machinery and equipment, transport facilities, cars and trailers.

State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that machinery and equipment production dropped 13.3%, cars and trailers rose 0.6%, and transport facilities slipped 14.0 %.

Azerbaijan produced 45 vehicles, down 86.2% by contrast to a year earlier. Finished products stood at 247 units.

Truck production raised 24.8% to 126. Moreover, 170 special vehicles were produced in the reporting period.

At the same time, tractor production fell 6.7% to 279 (finished products made 25 units).
