Baku. Agshin Rafiqoglu – APA-Economics. In January-March, 2015, Azerbaijan’s main pipelines transported 11.7 mln tonnes of oil, up 2.3% compared to the same period in 2014.
The State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics that 77.9% of the transportation was carried out via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil export pipelines and this pipeline transported 9.1 mln tonnes of oil, up 5.5% compared to a year earlier.
During this period, 1.9 mln tonnes of Turkmen oil brought to the country by ships were transported via the BTC pipeline from the Sangachal terminal.
During the reporting period, the country’s main pipelines transported 6.3 bln cubic meters of gas. 29.3% (1.8 bln cubic meters) of the transported gas was realized via the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum—South Caucasus Pipeline.
