One of the important tasks set before the Government by the President is to expand the geography of gas supply exports through the Southern Gas Corridor, said Prime Minister Ali Asadov during the presentation of the Cabinet of Ministers' report for 2024 in the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament), APA reports.
It was noted that currently, the number of countries receiving gas through this pipeline is 12.
During the reporting year, 29.1 million tons of oil and 50.6 billion cubic meters of gas were produced. Of this, 24.4 million tons of oil and 25.5 billion cubic meters of gas were exported.
