BP executive vice president visits Baku

BP's Executive Vice President for Production and Operations Gordon Birrell paid a one-day scheduled visit to Baku, company told APA-Economics.

This working visit, which is one of G. Birrell's regular visits to Baku, aimed to get acquainted with the progress of the company's business in the region, as well as to discuss business priorities and prospects. During the day, Mr. Birrell held a number of meetings with BP's regional management and was acquainted with the current situation in the projects in which the company is an operator in the region and the work planned for 2025.

As part of the visit, Mr. Birrell also had a working meeting with Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf.

The current status of the work carried out within the framework of energy projects implemented by BP in Azerbaijan, as well as the priorities and progress of the company's business worldwide and in the region, were discussed at this meeting.
