Expected level of participation of partners in the Nabucco Budapest Summit announced

Baku. Victoria Dementyeva–APA. Nabucco Summit in Budapest on January 26-27, 2009 will be organized in a high level, APA reports. Austria, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Germany, as well as source and transit countries and international stakeholders will join the summit. Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc, Bulgarian PM Sergei Stanishev, Austrian Minister of Economics Reinhard Mitterlehner, German State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Economics Jochen Homann, Turkey’s Minister of Energy Hilmi Guler will participate at the summit. Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iraq and Egypt were invited to the summit as source countries. The summit organizing committee told APA President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will represent his country at the summit. Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum Sameh Fahmy are also expected to attend the event. Georgia, as a transit country, will be represented by Prime Minister Grigol Mgaloblishvili.
