"We accredit all observers who apply in person. They have not been rejected yet," Mazahir Panahov, chairman of the Central Election Commission told journalists, APA reports.
CEC Chairman said that journalists are generally free: "They can cover all the processes by presenting their credentials. Now I am double asking the journalists to convey the elections from the Garabagh region, which is especially dear to us, to the world community on the voting day. This will be the first time parliamentary elections will be held across all of Azerbaijan’s sovereign territory. It is important to pay close attention to the processes in Garabagh on election day. There, it is necessary to pay more attention to the opinions of foreign observers."
The CEC chairman noted that the number of local observers registered to monitor the extraordinary parliamentary elections scheduled on September 1 exceeded 110,000.
