Addressing the media representatives participating in the parliament' session, he. “There are the dozens of journalists here, who has so been told not to write it, but other one?”. “I’ll tell you. Such case was not observed. If there were such a case, it would have been revealed.”

Asgarov noted that some persons in the management of the European Parliament fell under the influence of the Armenian lobby: “What do you want from Azerbaijan? Azerbaijan, just like you, is also on the path of development, why are you so jealous now? Azerbaijan will hold parliamentary elections on November 1. Those in Europe have already prepared reports of the results of these elections. The question is, how could you know what the results would be? How dare you intervene in the will of the Azerbaijani people?,” he noted.

Z. Asgarov accused the Martin Schulz, President of the European Parliament, of corruption, saying that he has no right to speak of justice, to look for a fault with Azerbaijan. Asgarov further touched upon the migration crisis faced by Europe and the developments in the Arab world, noting that there are ongoing wars and calamities in Egypt, Libya, Syria, and Afghanistan.

“Populations in these countries have become refugees. Who is to blame for this? Of course, you Europeans. They are innocent. You are the guilty. Now, go solve their problems since you are the ones who caused these problems. You spent millions to tear Libya apart, and now you are seeking to the same to Azerbaijan. You drowned thousands of migrants in water. What kind of viciousness is this?! Here in Azerbaijan too, traitors have received millions of funds from Europe. Now they are seeking to create a chaos in the country. But they are not succeeding because the government and people in Azerbaijan are in strong solidarity,” the vice-speaker stressed.
