President Ilham Aliyev reviews reconstruction work at Heydar Aliyev Culture and Recreation Park in Khirdalan - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED

The head of state visited the monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev and laid a bunch of flowers at it, APA reports.

Head of the Absheron District Executive Authority Zakir Farajov informed President Ilham Aliyev about the works done recently in the district and the town.

President Ilhyam Aliyev has attended the opening of Heydar Aliyev Center in Khirdalan city. The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the center. The Azerbaijani President watched the photo stand reflecting the national leader’s life and various periods of his activity.

The president was informed that one of the specific features of the center is that numerous interactive data boards have been installed here. A museum was established in the center to perpetuate the memory of the national leader. All exposition halls have been provided with all the necessary equipment. In order to increase the functionality of the center, debate and discussion halls have been built for the young people and an electronic library has been established. Except the exhibition hall, there is a language lab, internet and art rooms, photo studio and a dance hall in the center.

In recent years, Heydar Aliyev centers in the republic have started to hold some goodwill events such as the arrangement of the wedding ceremonies. It was noted that this center, like other Heydar Aliyev centers in the republic, provides the registration of citizenship status acts and the arrangement of related ceremonies.

The head of state then met with public representatives of Absheron district.

President Ilham Aliyev also reviewed the reconstruction work in Heydar Aliyev Culture and Recreation Park in Khirdalan.

The head of state was told that all conditions for the residents to have quality rest and spend their leisure time usefully have been provided in the park which covers an area of 12 ha. During the reconstruction works, the national architectural style and modernity have been coordinated, with original elements and shapes. Lots of trees and decorative flower bushes have been planted.
