New Azerbaijan Party: â€œJamil Hasanli wonâ€™t return to Azerbaijanâ€

Novruzov noted that Hasanli represented the interests of certain circles here: “He was engaged in disseminating slanderous information basing on the Armenian sources. The Azerbaijani people also assumed that he was conducting a slanderous election campaign. The results of the elections are apparent. The people supported and elected Ilham Aliyev as president for the next 5 years. Thus, Jamil Hasanli had no other option. He won’t return to Azerbaijan.”

The YAP official substantiated Hasanli’s decision like this: “None of his relatives are in Azerbaijan, they are living abroad. As he was here alone, he left the country. Surely, he won’t return.”

Novruzov said that Hasanli would blackmail some organization defending Azerbaijan’s position by using the Armenian forces in Europe: “Because, European Union, European Parliament, other structures of the OSCE, as well as separate international organizations stated that fair, free, democratic and transparent elections were conducted in Azerbaijan. Jamil Hasanli will blackmail these organizations uniting with the Armenians there. As Isa, Ali and Jamil did in the rally.”
