Musavat leader Isa Gambar holds last press conference

Baku. Etibar Mammadov – APA. The leader of Musavat Party Isa Gambar held the last press conference in this position ahead of the 8th congress of the Party, APA reports.

Isa Gambar noted that the congress, to be held on September 27, will be an important event for Musavat. He said that the activity in the last period would be discussed, amendments would be made to the charter: “Areas of the Party’s further activity will be determined.”

Isa Gambar recalled that according to the charter the leader of the party can’t be elected for the third term, so new leader will be elected at the congress. He didn’t exclude running for the leadership after new leader’s term of office ends.

Gambar said that he wants to act as an ordinary member of the party from now on: “If party members want to see me in any position, I will think about it. If they express confidence in me, I can run for presidency.”
