The Central Elections Commission is not able to observe cyberspace,” CEC Secretary Mikayil Rahimov told APA.
He said if any voter has a negative fact, he or she can submit it to CEC: “Investigation will be carried out in this regard and relevant decision can be passed. But it is not right to search and find anything in cyberspace and hold a discussion referring to it.”
Rahimov also commented on CEC’s investigation of information about irregularities on the election day: “To my mind, these irregularities were recorded at the level of polling stations. The election commission has passed a relevant decision and submitted to the Constituency. If anyone wants to get information about these decisions, he or she can apply to the election commissions. But these irregularities were very few so the CEC doesn’t need to comment on it.”
