APA reports that President Ilham Aliyev paid tribute to Heydar Aliyev and laid wreath on the grave of the national leader. The Head of State also laid bunches of flowers on graves of well-known ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, state figure Aziz Aliyev and professor Tamerlan Aliyev.
The President’s family members, Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ogtay Asadov, Head of the Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyey and others visited Heydar Aliyev’s grave.
The state and government representatives, people also visited Heydar Aliyev’s grave.
The residents of the capital have been visiting Heydar Aliyev’s grave in the Alley of Honor since morning.
Ten years have passed since the National Leader Heydar Aliyev died. He died on December 12, 2003.
