Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. Azerbaijani Parliament on Monday passed a decision regarding the resolution of the European Parliament dated September 10, 2015.

The draft decision was read out by vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Head of the EU-Azerbaijan parliamentary cooperation committee Valeh Asgarov.

According to the document, the European Parliament's resolution shows that the organization is extremely biased against Azerbaijan.

“There are attempts of slandering Azerbaijan, damaging its reputation and isolating the country. Since September last year, as the organization started its operation in a new structure, no dialogue could be conducted between Azerbaijan and the organization because of the fault of organization’s some members, including its president. MEPs' visits to Azerbaijan were informally banned,” said the document.

According to the decision, calls for the release of several persons do not rely on any legal basis and are intervention in Azerbaijan’s judiciary system.

President of the European Parliament Schulz turns a blind eye to the activities of some groups, said the document.

“The ongoing problems of migration, racism and xenophobia in Europe have reached their climax. International law is disobeyed. The European Parliament in all of its resolutions allegedly relies on judgments of the European Court of Human Rights. But some time ago that the ECHR passed a judgment with regard to the Chiragov’s and this judgment still remains unfulfilled. They intend to cast doubt on the results of the upcoming elections in Azerbaijan. This is against the will of Azerbaijani elections. The Azerbaijani Parliament reminds the European Parliament that it will always protect human rights and freedoms, and will lean on democratic principles. In consideration of the explained, the Azerbaijani Parliament adopts a decision:

- Subversive activities and biased campaigns against Azerbaijan shall be ended

- The activity damaging the reputation of the European Parliament shall be stopped

- The Azerbaijani delegation should be stopped from participating in the meetings of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly and recalled.

- The Cabinet of Ministers should be ordered to ban members of the European Parliament from entering Azerbaijan in case sanctions are imposed on Azerbaijani officials.
