The Parliament told APA that the Azerbaijani President proposes amendments to the article #282.2 (Diversion) of the Criminal Code.
According to the amendment, commitment of explosion, arson or other actions directed on destruction or damage of enterprises, constructions, means of communication, means of message and communication, objects of life-support of a population with a view of undermining defensibility and economic safety of the Azerbaijan Republic, as well as mass poisoning or distribution among people and animal infectious of diseases, committed in same purposes will be punished by 20-year imprisonment.
The valid punishment is 15 years.
The draft law was recommended to the Parliament’s plenary meeting and will be discussed on May 30.
