Baku. Real Jafarli – APA. The next summit of the Caspian littoral states’ leaders will be held on September 29 in Russia’s Astrakhan oblast, said Russian Ambassador to Iran Levan Djagaryan, APA reports quoting Fars news agency.
He said that presidents of 5 littoral countries will take part in the summit. “Iranian President Hassan Rouhani received his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin’s invitation”, he noted.
Djagaryan also said that a meeting of the working group at the level of the deputy foreign ministers of the Caspian littoral states will be held in Tehran on June 11-12: “Special representative of the Russian President on demarcation and delimitation of state borders Igor Bradchikov will visit Iran for this purpose”, he noted.
