From tomorrow, the election documents necessary for the registration of a presidential candidate regarding the extraordinary presidential elections in Azerbaijan can be submitted to the Central Election Commission, APA reports.
According to Election Code, candidate for presidency, an authorized representative of a political party, a bloc of political parties must submit the election documents necessary for the registration of the candidate to the Central Election Commission at most 50 and at least 30 days before the voting day by 18 o’clock.
Therefore, the election documents necessary for the registration of a presidential candidate regarding the extraordinary presidential elections that’s being held on February 7, 2024, must be submitted to CEC from December 19, 2023 to January 8, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.
