Member of Azerbaijan's Parliament Gudrat Hasanguliyev has proposed convening a special Milli Majlis session, APA reports.
MP Hasanguliyev noted that after the recent events in Russia, a necessity has arisen to provide information on the work done in the field of security in Azerbaijan as well: "I propose calling a special session of the Milli Majlis. After what happened in Russia, let the information about the works done in this field in Azerbaijan be provided as well. A meeting of the Parliament can be called and the meeting can also be held closed."
Appreciating the purchase of the new ambulances, the MP noted the importance of purchasing air ambulance helicopters as well: "During the period of Patriotic War, the injured were carried to the helipad in Badamdar, and the hospitals via ambulances from there."
He also highlighted the lack of helipads in the hospitals: "There are no helipads in our hospitals. I thought about this after the incident in Russia. What would happen if such an incident happened in Azerbaijan? There is a lot of car traffic in Baku."
