"CEC has decided on the creation of new polling stations for some constituencies," said Rovzat Gasimov, deputy chairman of the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan at the meeting of the Central Election Commission held today, APA reports.
He said that in connection with this, new polling stations will be established to ensure the right to vote for people living in liberated territories and engaged in construction work for a long time. Among the new polling stations is the polling station created in Khankandi.
CEC chairman Mazahir Panahov added that new polling stations were expected to be established in Tartar and Sugovushan: "But as a result of counter-terrorism measures, new polling stations will be established in Khankandi, Khojaly and Asgaran.
