2009 - Year of Children aims at strengthening concern for children’s welfare, increasing attention of civil society organizations to children’s problems and determination of demographic prospects of the country on children.
According to the order, State Committee on Family, Women and Children’s Issues, Ministries of Education, Health, Youth and Sport, Labour and Social Protection of Population, State Statistics Committee were instructed to make a plan of measures for declaration of 2009 - Year of Children and submit it to the President within a month.
