International conference â€œWomanâ€“politiciansâ€™ role in the new security environmentâ€ kicks off in Baku

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev â€“ APA. International conference â€œWoman â€“politiciansâ€™ role in the new security environmentâ€ is held with support of New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) in Baku on September 11. Addressing the event, Chairwoman of YAP Nasimi District organization, MP Malahat Hasanova read out First Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyevaâ€™s message to attendees.
Hasanova stressed that representation of women in political administration was more important in new millennium.
â€œThe role of women and potential of women-politicians should be used in establishing peace, culture and endurance between nations, cross-cultural and cross-civilizational dialogue. Activity of all important international organizations has already based on protection of peace, stability, regular development and non-violence conceptionâ€, she said.
Viceâ€“Speaker of MM Bahar Muradova made a keynote speech and stated that Azerbaijan had contributed to security system of the world. Muradova attached importance to the conference and added that appeal to world parliaments and international organizations could be adopted at least.
The conference brought together representatives of diplomatic missions of several countries in Azerbaijan and guests arriving to participate in the conference.
