Roundtable on price increase of energy supply and its influence social rights held

Human Rights Monitoring Group held a roundtable on price increase of energy supply and its influence social rights, APA reports.
Parliamentarians, political scientists and right defenders participated in the discussion. Right defender Saide Gojamanli stated that the Tariff Council decision to increase prices of fuel products, electricity and utilities was made without considering socio-economic conditions of the people. Economics expert Gubad Ibadoglu noted that the decision was made deliberately. He said that some persons want to rob people. He also noted that this decision will harm non-oil sector. MP Penah Huseyn pointed out the necessity of organization to prevent the increase.
â€œIt is social criminal act. I suggest forming National Crisis Group. This is the only way to organize public restrictionâ€?, he said.
