Co-chairmanship institution in Azerbaijan Social Democrat Party abolished

According to APA, heads of allied parties from Hungary, Russia, Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, as well co-chairman of Socintern on CIS, Black Sea basin and southern Caucasus Alexandra Dobolyi wished successes ASDPâ€™s activity.

Heads of Azerbaijani Opposition Parties â€“ head of Vahdat (Unity) Party Tahir Karimli, chairman of Citizen and Development Party Ali Aliyev, chairman of Supreme Assembly of the Great Establishment Party Ajdar Aliyev made speeches, chairman of Classic Popular Front Party Mirali Mahmudoglu joined meeting via phone and expressed opinions.

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych was also applied at the congress. The appeal says the President was asked imprisoned members of Social Democratic Party, as well political prisoners to be set free.

Thereafter, ASDP co-chairman Araz Alizadeh made speech as report.

Organizational issues were also discussed, co-chairmanship institute was abolished in connection with leaving of Ayaz Mutellibov party and policy, election of chairman of party and to other elective organizations was held, at the congress.

Araz Alizadeh was re-elected as new chairman of the party.
